What is Alien Space Bunny Software?

This domain exists to give some Java code I'm writing a cute package name (com.alienspacebunny.)

Thanks to the rapid advancement of AI coding, a couple of long-term parked projects are nearly done, and I expect to have them ready for release soon. No promises, though!

Why "Alien Space Bunny"?

"Alien Space Bunnies" are an intentional malapropism on Alien Space Bats; bunnies are also much cuter than bats.

Also, one of the hobby projects could be abbreviated as "ASB" - "Alkali is Sort of like BASIC," although fair warning - this is not one of the projects that is currently closing in on "releasable."

Who is this?

This used to just say "I don't care to advertise half-complete projects, despite the parked domains."

Why is this page so ugly?
  • This started out as 100% hand coded HTML, 1994-style, with a trivial bit of CSS added.
  • it's had a little bit of LLM help for design now, but I have odd visual taste.
  • I have a mild form of red-green colorblindness.
  • The logo is AI-generated.
